Code of Conduct

In the spirit of the DDR mission, a Code of Conduct (CoC) has been established for all members. The purpose for the CoC is to ensure all members conduct themselves in a manner that is conducive to advancing the mission statement of Dune Devilz Racing, Oregon Chapter.

All DDR members shall…

· Follow all local, state and federal laws as they relate to OHV usage

· Obtain the approved Oregon ATV Safety Education Card within 60 days of becoming a member

· NEVER drink and drive their vehicle, ATV or OHV at any time

· Do their best to wear their helmets at all times while operating OHV or ATV

· Refrain from indecent behavior, lewd conduct, foul language, humiliating and/or demeaning of other members, family/friends, or public at large

· Protect the environment to the best of their ability and follow “Tread Lightly” guidelines whenever possible

· While interacting with public or private entities or persons, conducts themselves in a way that is becoming of a DDR member

o Remember, if you are advertising DDR while on official club rides or not, you are representing the club as a whole. You are responsible for representing DDR in the best possible light.

Complaints or violations must be brought to the attention of the club president with 30 days. At the discretion and selection of the club president an ethics committee, made up of (4) active members, may be established to investigate complaints or violations (The complaint committee shall not include anyone from the immediate family with whom the complaint is against). The committee will then report back to the club president with recommendations for action, if any. All actions taken against a member shall be at the full discretion of the club president.

· An active member

o Must be in good standing with DDR

o Has met all requirements as stated in CoC

o Has participated in a minimum of half of the official club activities (rides, clean-ups, etc.) within any 12 month period
